Dear sir...If nobody answers and you find it yourself please share your findings here.....when I tried cacaview filename.jpg , the output doesn't look like a picture.But the screenshot given here is almost the same as the picture( I think so).What may be the reason.<br>
I've also tried mplayer -vo caca filename.ogv and the audio output was perfect , but the video was some squares and letters.....I expect more from you. BTW how to take a screenshot in terminal mode? plz help...THANKS in advance.<br>

Anybody tried to view image files and movies in console (tty)?<br><br>I'm able to view it using caca libraries. The following is the command.<br>$cacaview abc.jpg<br><br>It is working but the image is not displayed properly. Please see the attachment.<br>
<br>Also I have tried to play movies in the console using the following command.<br>$mplayer -vo caca abc.flv<br><br>This also has the same problem. Is there anything I have to configure in caca to display the image properly?<br>
