Dear all.....How can mencoder be installed in Lenny? This package is found to be missing in dvds.And when I tried to update it from the source ,it showed thus<br>"Package mencoder is not available, but is referred to by another package.<br>
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or<br>is only available from another source<br>E: Package mencoder has no installation candidate<br>And one more thing.....I tried updating thus .....opened sources.list and uncommented (I don't know whether my usage is correct--or removed the hash) and saved it and then<br>
apt-get update ......and then apt-get install mencoder <br>and the source uncommented by me in the file was<br clear="all">deb-src <a href="http://security.debian.org/" target="_blank">http://security.debian.org/</a> lenny/updates main contrib<br>
