[ILUG-Cochin.org] DVD writer without DRM

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a new DVD writer. I want to do multisession writing and
clone copying using that writer. Can you suggest me some models, which
does'nt have DRM?

Right now, I'm having a DVD writer, which is a Sony product (Model No:
DRU-820A, 16x). This writer does'nt allow me to do clone copying. When I
start clone copy from k3b, it says "Your writer does'nt support clone copy".
I believe that is a DRM, Because even floppy drives support clone copying
and I have done that 12 years ago. :-) And I think it is Sony's business
trick to make people buy another DVD reader / writer for doing clone copy.

So can you suggest some models, which doesn't have any DRM and which is
having good performance?
