[ILUG-Cochin.org] Firefox 3 Offline by default

Hi all,

I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox 3. Now it is my
default web browser. My problem is when I start Firefox it is offline
by default. I have to manually turn ON the browser to online from the
"File" menu. I have googled to find a solution for this problem. I
found a solution in ubuntuforums.org
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=5060822&postcount=6). The
solution is :-

Open the file /etc/dbus-1/system.d/NetworkManager.conf as root. Then
replace the following line

<allow send_interface="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager"/>

with

<deny send_interface="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager"/>
