[ILUG-Cochin.org] 'Resources' in ILUG-Cochin page

Hello All,

We have started a new section in the ILUG Home page called resources.

The page is intended to provide anyone visiting the site with a whole 
lot of meaningful information ranging from weblinks to howtos, articles 
etc..

We all agree on the fact that no "Swathanthra Software" website is 
complete without a resources page.
Many of you might disagree on the framework of the page and the method 
of posting. But I believe once we get
kickstarted, we can always go for an alternative method, like a wiki or 
something suitable.

The resources page will contain weblinks, howtos, tutorials, articles, 
newspaper scans, video/ audio tutorials and
images. The intention of the page is to provide access to people 
visiting the site with the best resources on the net. It also
tries to encourage people to write documentation, thereby contributing 
to the community. We also have one another intention
of promoting Malayalam Documentation, which is one very important step 
towards Malayalam Computing.

The procedure for contribution is very simple. Simply send your contents 
in pdf/odt/odp/png/ogg/ods/ascii-text/html/tex/dvi to me by e-mail.
And once i verify the content, it will be immediately posted on the 
page. My e-mail id is kurianmthayil[at]gmail[dot]com.

As I said earlier, this method will become simplified once we get things 
moving.

Feel free to suggest any ideas or tips so that we can work on it and 
make this a better one. So starting shooting your howtos and articles to 
me.
